I am a 23-year-old native of Fort Worth, Texas. I received a B.S. in Public Relations and Mass Communications with a concentration in digital media from Texas State University. I am currently Director of Membership for the African American Chapter of the Texas State University Alumni Association. I also serve on the Board of Directors for the Calaboose African American History Museum in San Marcos, Texas.
In my free time, I enjoy crafting, digital media and practicing my skills as an aspiring makeup artist. Many of my hobbies and skills are self-taught.
Of my many values, Self-expression and creativity are most important to me. I am what some may call a "jack of all trades, master of none." A trained dancer, singer, actress, pianist and visual artist, I possess many skills in the arts.
I hope to work as an event coordinator working alongside the arts, with dreams of traveling the world. In addition to many areas of the U.S. Ive traveled to Greece, Zambia and most recenlty Nicaragua. I would love to continue my journeys using digital journalism in an effort to experience other cultures and bring global awareness to all.
